FUTURE – WILL / WON'T
Copy the following information on your notebook.
USES:
To talk about the future: Ann will be here in a minute.
Offers: We'll help you give out the leaflets.
Promises: (I promise) I won't tell anybody.
Instant decisions: The phone is ringing. Don't worry. I'll get it.
Predictions (I think, I don't think, I'm sure, Maybe, etc.): I'm sure I'll pass the exam; I don't think he'll be here in time.
FORM:
Affirmative: S + will + infinitive without 'to' + C. I will go with you.
Negative: S + won't + infinitive without 'to' + C. I won't go with you.
Interrogative: Will + S + infinitive without 'to' + C? Will you come with me? Yes, I will.
